My Thomas L. McCarty was born in Md.I feel like it could have been St.
Marys Co. Many people from there settled in Mead Co Ky. where Thomas &
Elizabeth Jenkins was married. He had brthers James & John S. James moved
to Indiana & John S. moved to Illinois as did Thomas L.
Elizabeth was born in Mead Co Ky.daughter of Phillip Jenkins . She had
a brother Samuel H. that also came to Illinois about the same time as the
McCarty's.
