MabelMy immigrant ancestors Robert E. Cooke 1700-1730 after coming to the New World began working for a Mr. Boyd, a planter from Chaptico, St. Mary, MD. He was a cobbler/saddlemaker and he married a girl who also worked for Mr. Boyd, a Sarah Fielding.

Besides this couple, I am looking for anyone who knows anything about this Mr. Boyd and the history of St. Mary's County, MD during this time period.
