I have very little information on him. I have that he was living as late as
1657.

John Medcalf witnessed the will of John Smithson on 8/27/1638.

He served as Sheriff of St. Mary's Co. in 1653. (History of St. Mary's County
by Regina Combs Hammett).

John Medcalf and Mark Pheypo witnessed the will of Nicholas Keating on
4/20/1657.
