Marcella and lists:
Charity HAGAN, thought to be dau. of Ignatius HAGAN and Magdalen THOMPSON,
m. ??? BEAVEN bef 1773 in Charles? Co., MD She was Charity BEAVEN when her
mother's estate was probated.
About MCATEE, I am a HAYDEN, MCATEE & HAGAN descendant and have huge files
and still can't connect William McATEE to the family.
William McATEE b. 1680 is not a verified statement. At most it was an
estimate in my file and probably is not correct, considering the whole
picture. Nothing about William is verified that I know.
Rebecca LOWE HAGAN ( my direct ancestress) was married to Ignatius HAGAN by
1720, (source: deeds). There is no known death time, nor a time when
Ignatius married Magadalen, except before Ignatius wrote his will in 1761.
He does not name a Charity in his will. Could it be that Mary HAGAN, named
in her father's will is actually "Charity" HAGAN?
There are just too many questions. Hopefully others with information will
jump in to this discussion!
