I have found an 1850 St Mary's County Census entry for Ann C. Cufman, age
10. The 1850 Census lists Martha Cufman, age 38, as Ann's mother, both
listed as born in St Mary's County. The 1840 St Mary's County Census has
an entry for a Henry Cuffman. The Marriages and Deaths for St Mary's County
list a marriage license for Martha Beckwith to Henry Cufman in 1838. I
have a photo of a family bible entry that lists the birth, marriage and
death dates for Ann C. Curfman, James Lee Smith and their 11 children.
