Loanne, At the very minute I saw your post, I was checking Magruder's
Index for the earliest Absolem TENNISON.... but don't find him. I'd be
interested in any TENNISON material you have!

Wouldn't the earliest Absolem TENNISON have married Elizabeth SHANKS?
This is all I had:

26 March 1695 Account of Absolam TENNISON, St. Mary's Co.
Received from John SHANKES.
Payment to John MORRIS.
Adm.: Elizabeth WATTS, relict of Charles WATTS.
