Been searching for years for gr gr gr grandfather Chilton Moss m. Lucy
Templemon of Westmoreland Co VA about 1806. They were married in St Mary's
City but I can't find out anything else about Chilton's family, etc. He
was killed at the Battle of River Raisin in 1813 and left Lucy with two
little girls...as it turned out both little girls are grandmothers of mine
in two separate lines - Irvine and Caldwell of Danville KY. I've found
a John, Hannah and Suzanna Moss that came to St Mary's City about 1803
from Ireland and PA. It was always said Chilton was from Ireland. Can anyone
help???Thank you.
