You did not have all the puzzle and it sure does help to have most of the
puzzle pieces. What you were probably lacking was the Will written by
Nicholas Power's son Joseph. Little Joseph grew up and was dying in 1724 and
he wrote his will which left his estate to his 2 nephews, Nicholas III and
John Sanders Power also his niece Sarah Doyne daughter of Jean Power-Doyne
was included. The executors were Joshua Doyne, brother-in-law and his
brother Thomas Power. The trustee was Clement Gardiner (cousin)
Joseph had never married.
Nicholas Power I and Sarah Pile's children numbered four. His daughters were
Mary Power and Jean or Jane Power, who were the two daughters. With the 2
sons Nicholas II,Joseph.
