Hi all. I feel I need to send cousin JAN a SUPER WARM "THANKS" from
many many folks out there who DO have folks who "crossed the county line"
over the years! I moderate the Calvert email list and know how much
Jan's HARD WORK & TIME have been truly appreciated! My SUITE FAMILY
of SMC intermarried into the MCVOY (COCHRAN,COCHRANE,FOWLER,etc.)
of CALVERT so I also have many ties to these as well as CHARLES,PRINCE
GEORGE,BALTO,DC, etc. I just want to say "THANKS!" to Jan. I subscribe
to many of these lists as well as moderate several surname lists
here and on yahoogroups. Also, too- there are "archives" that folks
from the SMC list can search in reference to Calvert and vice versa.
It is rare to have a very hardworking and caring researcher to take
her valuable time to freely help others on these lists. My late grandmother
used to subscribe to the MD newspapers for many years
when she couldn't be "home." Thanks for sharing! It does mean alot.
People like JAN ROGGY are rare-- she's a very super human being
who cares deeply about preservation of Maryland genealogy!!
