Dear Linda, and list

I'm afraid my search of the will of James Pike who died abt 1773 was
not found. I had it at one time, also the will of Archibald Pike.

all of these Pike's are related but it appears now that we have three
or 4 James Pike's.

Possibly more.

Archibald Pike Will Book 27 Page 198
Archibald Pike of St. Mary's County
Lucy Pike Wife. Sons James, John, and Archibald. Daughter Mary Greenwell.
Executor: Lucy Pike wife and James Pike son. Witnesses: Nicholas
Mills, Sr. George Innes, Elizabeth Mills
Codicil 1750

Now We Know this Archibald Pike had a son James Pike. and we know his
daughter listed as Mary Greenwell was Mary Pike who married John
Wiseman Greenwell.

also found in Southern Catholic Families the Following

Congregations of St. Francis Xavier and St. Inigoes,
St. Mary's County, Maryland

Pyke, James and Ann ((Bacon as Linda Reno states)
Mary Ann b. 14 may 1753
Henryb. 5 feb 1756
Jamesb. 18 Apr 1759

Pyke, John and Kezia
Issue:

Mary Ann Pike b 17 May 1757
John Pike b. 1 June 1759
Williamb. 18 Sep 1761

In this guys will he had children Archibald Pike, Mary Pike, Lucy
Pike, Ann Pike, and John Pike. and James Pike signed as a witness.

24 Aug 1772 Susan Pyke of James and Elizabeth

--Sept ---- Pyke of James and Mary Ann winesses Archbald
Greenwell, Elizabeth Mills

Based on these records we have a James Pike son of James and Ann
(bacon as Linda Reno Stated)

We also have a James Pike and Mary Ann (Medley as I claim)

then a James Pike and Elizabeth ?

I guess that makes 3 so far,but in will of the James Pike who married
Mary Ann Medley he states his sons are James Pike, and Henry Pike.

So do we have 4 James Pike's?

More to come.
