I have a question about the Stratford family as well--or I should say
Stratford allied families.

Joseph Stratford married Mary Horrell, daughter of Christopher Horrell and
Elizabeth. Her brother, Christopher Horrell is given as being married to
Margaret Keech, daughter of James Keech and Elizabeth Courts. I cannot find
any reason for someone to identify him as her husband.

In the Jul 6 1726 inventory of James Keech, son of James Keech and Elizabeth
Courts, Margaret Seager is given as next of kin. Margaret, the widow of
Samuel Sothoron, married (Dr.) John Seager before Sep 27 1714 when they
administered the estate of Samuel Sothoron. I have this woman as Margaret
Keech, daughter of James and Elizabeth.

Does anyone know why Christopher Horrell would be given as the husband of
Margaret Keech?

Bye,
Norma
