Hi, Gary,

I don't have the link you are looking for, but have some info that may
provide you with a lead.
My Maryland O'Neales married into the Dyson Family. Part of the O'Neal's
then left Maryland for
Ohio and some left for Kentucky.

My Bennet O'Neale was b 1784 in Culpeper County, Virginia.
He married Sally Embrey bef 1831.
Census records show him in Adair County, Kentucky.
Adair County was later incorporated into Barren County.
In 1857 Bennet wrote a letter to his nephew in Maryland, in which he
mentions his Uncle,
Barton O'Neal, wife of Mary Dyson in Ohio.

Barton was born in 1758. In 1786 he married Mary Dyson in Frederick
county, Maryland. Sarah was the
daughter of Samuel Dyson and Lydia Murphy. (This from direct descendant,
Bev Crowe.)

The will extract below shows Barton and Mary in Montgomery County,
Maryland.

Wills>From Abstracts of Wills of Montgomery Co., MD by M.G. Malloy, J.

Brashears; Milly Higdon w/o Ignatius Higdon. Sons"John B. Dyson,
Jeremiah Dyson Child of dec'd daugther Sarah Bird and child of dec'd son
Samuel Dyson.
Exec: son John B. Dyson.
Wit: William Dawson, James Allnut, Lawrance Allnut
Shortly thereafter we find Barton & Mary in Ross county, Ohio. Mty
guess is, when Sam & Lydia died, the children sold off the estate and
left Maryland, perhaps to avoid the War of 1812.

So, Gary as you can see I don't have the link you are looking for, but
do have some possibilities that may
lead you to the link.

Good luck, John
