That's why I have just concluded that Eleanor Gough(Clarke)
(Greenwell) (Wheatley)
only married these three men.
but you say she was listed in her brothers will or account. What name
was she listed by at that time?
I just assume her father James Gough had not adjusted herself to the
name change, because when he made out his will she should have been
Eleanor Wheatley. looseing three husbands rather quickly I can see
how a Father would forget her new married name of Eleanor Wheately.
Since Eleanor Gough lost three husbands rather quickly I can only
presume that her father goofed when listing her in his will and
forgot to list her as Elanor Wheatley.
Who was James Langhorne? can you share records of him?
