Don't be in too big of a hurry if you are planning on updating your records
viz. Elizabeth Heard. I either have something wrong in that union or I have
her parents wrong, or something. The dates just plain don't work for her as
I have her. Or she never existed to marry Nicholas Mills and his wife was
actually Elizabeth Carberry. She DID exist and I can show she married a
Nicholas Mills. I can't even show Elizabeth Heard existed. I picked her up
from the archives.
Bye,
Norma

Thanks Norma,
I'll update my records. Boy they certainly spell Raley, Riley, Realy,
now Reileigh different. I sure would not have looked under that
spelling.
is this the same Benjamin Williams that married Mary Lee or was it Leigh?
Now Which wife did he marry? Margaret Reed or Ann wife of William Read?
and how were they related, and which William Read was this?
Michael Realy 29.396 A CH £11.1.7 #1616 MAY 31, 1709 The ammount of
the inventory is equivalent to #2659. Payments to: Mrs. Barbery
Henson. Administrarix: Barbery Spearing, wife of John Spearing.
the above is Micheal Realy Sr.
Michael Raley Sr., I have that he was b. 1650 and died bef 6/8/1714.
I don't have
his wife's name. Children:
1. Michael, Jr. b. 1670/1672 and died 1738. He married Grace
Greenwell about 1735.
He was named as a creditor on the inventory of William Read 6/3/1718.
2. Richard, b. bef 1707 and died 1727.
3. John, Sr. b. 1709 and died 1774. He married Lydia S.____ bef 1737.
4. William, b. bef 1710 and died after 1751.
5. Henry, b. bef 1696 and died 1754 who married 1st Ann (widow of
William Read) and then Margaret. His admin.
accts. 5/3/1754 list his Exec. as Margaret Read.
Henry Raley, b. bef 1696 and died 1754 was the son of Michael Raley
Sr. He married
first, Ann____widow of William Read who died 1718. He married second,
Margaret ____,
widow of Nicholas Mills II by 1754.
