The information I have on Thomas Connell follows.

1st GEN: James O'Connell b. abt 1658 County Kerry, Ireland m. Mary Carson, b. Ireland. James may have come from a shipbuilding family. (SOURCE A. David Distler) In 1678 James emigrated to St. Mary's County, MD.

2nd GEN: Thomas Connell, b 1678, St. Mary's Co., MD, m. Mary Ogden.

3rd GEN: James Connell, b. abt 1719 in Charles Co., MD m. 1748, Ann Williams in Charles Co., MD. Ann was the daughter of John Williams and Ann Wilkerson.

4th GEN: Zachariah Connell, my ancestor, b. 1741. James Connell, Jr. b. 1742, Thomas Connell, b. aft 1742. Rachel Connell b. abt 1751.
