Linda I am never SURE about any of these relationships as there are so many
same names and dates, but I got this marriage from MARYLAND RECORDS VOL I,
p. 387, and it seemed to fit even though Ann Wimsatt's birth date would have
made her 28 years old and old for a first marriage.

Thank you for the Elizabeth Davis connection to her father and mother. I
did not have to courage to decide which man was her father, and had not come
across the will of Jemima.
though I had the marriage of Jemima Wimsatt to Joseph Davis, Oct 15 1772,
St. Francis Xavier Ch., St. Mary's County, Maryland. I still don't know who
were the parents of Jemima Wimsatt. Was she a widow Wimsatt?

Once again I am relying on MARYLAND RECORDS, VOL I. p. 399
Joseph Wimsatt m. Sarah Stone January 3, 1800, St. Mary's County, Maryland.
This Sarah Stone is the only one I could find that seemed a candidate for
the marriage.
