Hi:

Thanks to Judith for sending me several abstracts of Hoskins' wills from
Maryland. Does anyone know anything about the following?

MARYLAND CALENDAR OF WILLS: Volume 5

Hoskins (Haskins), William, planter,St. Mary's Co.,25th Oct., 1722;
10th Nov., 1722.
To sons William and John, daus. Sarah and Elizabeth and dau.-in-law Grace
Knott, personalty.
To wife Ann, extx., residue of estate.
Test: John Ireland, Wm. Willis, Thos. Reeves. 18, 17.

Is this William Hoskins a son of Col. Philip Hoskins? Does this connect to
anyone out there and do you know how the line continues... i.e. children of
William and John. Is this John, the same John who died in St. Mary's "in
the midst of unexpressable torture from being bit by a mad dog 10 weeks
before."

I am wondering if either of the children could be a candidate for the father
of my ever-elusive Joseph R./ Randolph/ Randal Hoskins?? (Randolph / Randal
had a son named John -- I am grasping at straws <G>)

Thanks in advance --

Ann Hoskins-Brown
