Finally got some time to look this Edwards mess over. Every time I think
all is pigeonholed, something new turns up.
Here is what I have
Elkanah Edwards wed 2nd Margaret Harrison, dau. of Nathan
children:
Sarah Ann and Harrison
(Refs:2/6/2002 From: (Rosemary E Stout)
He then rewed Mary Chappelear June 21, 1825 and she died bef 1847.
Harrison Edwards wed Clarissa A. Harrison
their children were
Elkanah Harrison Edwards (b.1842) who wed Maggie Sothoron
Thomas Dent Edwards wed Julia Harrison (talk abt. keeping it in the family)
Laura, Mary M., Sarah A. never wed and are buried All Faiths
Mary Francis b.1846

Now, if I understand Mike correctly, Elkanah Edwards' 3rd wife,
Mary Chappelear was the sister of Elizabeth Chappelear who wed William
Alexander Cartwright . They were the daus of Benjamin F Chappelear who wed
Mary Wood
And if Mike is correct, Elkkanah Edwards first wife may have been Elizabeth
Chappelear, dau. of James Chappelear & Margaret Cooke
Speaking of Edwards & Harrisons, question
What connection, if any, is Thomas Edwards Harrison April 18, 1786
and died August 02, 1866?
