Hi Pat and all

That's essentially the same contract that the Heutz
family signed in Limburg when they sent their 3 sons
off with the Trappists. None of the Heutz men became
monks or priests either. Two settled in Union County,
KY and I think a third went on the Missouri with the
Trappists. Florrisant, maybe?

If you want more of the Trappist story, there's a Hite
researcher (Carol Mitchell) at genforum that can tell
you much more than I can. Heutz went through some
spelling changes, and became the Hites of Hitesville.
Hitesville is somewhere near Waverly and I have to ask
someone local to find it.

There was an interesting show on one of the satellite
channels this morning. I'm so glad I got to see part
of it. An archealogical expedition looking for the
City of St. Mary's! I didn't know it was lost? I saw
the Dove underway, the view of the land from the sea,
lots of great shots of the countryside. They found
the governor's mansion. I want to see it again.

Mary Lee
