I don't have a James Brown b.1813 in my research but I have my oldest grandfather, Jacob Brown b.1797 in that region. I don't know his siblings or parents yet, but I know he was a blacksmith by trade. If you have any more info on your James's brothers or uncles, I would be interested in knowing if you have a Jacob listed. If I find the same I will let you know.
