As much as I have used Timothy O'Rourke' book CATHOLIC FAMILIES OF SOUTHERN MD, (have copy etc.) I just realized that he noted in the very front of the book:
"translations from Latin abbreviations 1780-1785 are missing"

These years might give me a clue as to other baptisms and thus approx. birth dates for some of my ... Duval "children" and who knows who else. Wonder why he did not translate such. Would think he knew a bit of Latin. Maybe unreadable?? I would also like to see the original of the baptism, 1772, of my Mary Duvol and the spelling etc. of the mother listed.. "Alisia"

Does anyone know where O'Rourke found these original records.. MD State Archives... Georgetown or...?
