I got this e-mail from Linda and she pointed out that I didn't tell you the
vitals ! --- where and when :o(
All SMCGS meetings, unless otherwise noted, meet at 7:00 p. m. at the Garvey
Center in Leonardtown. The Garvey Center is located on Baldridge Street, off
Hollywood Road [MD 245] in Leonardtown. It's on the grounds of the St.
Mary's County Governmental Center. The Garvey Center is used as a Senior
Citizens center.
The Society meets the 4th Monday of each month from September to June,
except December and May, when we meet the 3rd Monday ... to avoid Christmas
and Memorial Day. We do not meet in July or August, although the bus trips
to Washington, D. C. are held in those months.

An "unless otherwise noted" event in the "Day of Genealogy" to be held on
Saturday, May 17th. This will be an all day event starting at 9:00 a. m. at
the LDS Church on Old Rolling Road, California. Except for things of this
nature, "normal" monthly meetings are at the Garvey Center, Leonardtown, at
7:00 p. m. on the 4th [NOT last] Mondays.
