I got my information from another person on this list. and in answer
to your question am I sure it's correct. No I'm not sure it's
correct, but it sounded logical, but because it isn't my research I
don't know if it's correct.

here is what I recieved:


I have Joseph Wimsatt, bapt. 12/20/1772 at St. Francis Xavier RCC,
Newtown son of Baptist Wimsatt and Elizabeth Brown. Elizabeth Brown
is the daughter of Nicholas Brown. She was named in her father's will
in 1767 and the will of her sister, Mary Brown 12/5/1790.

I have that Joseph Wimsatt married Mary Howard 7/28/1795. She was the
dau. of George Howard and Anastasia Spink.

James Wimsatt, b. before 1758 married Sarah Howard 3/23/1778. She was
b. 1761 and was also a daughter of George Howard and Anastasia Spink.

Could be that James and Joseph were brothers.
