What would we all do without THE Linda? Just think about it. She is a gold
mine of/for genealogical and other data for St Mary's Co.and the surrounding
area. And think again, it does not cost you a penny. You ask and she
provides. You see a question and within hours there is a detailed response that solves
it.

Now, as you all may or may not know, Linda is not funded. The work that she
does for all of us that costs money comes out of her own hide. The gold mine
she sits on does not have any of the shinny stuff.

She could be funded to hire a high school kid that is history orientated to
work a few hours a day a week so she could find time to do things like indexing
wills and putting them on CDs, feeding the Web pages and doing comments,
corrections and additions.

She could be funded to buy an el cheeepo laptop computer with a portable
scanner for use when she goes around the area turning rocks and for the high
school kid helping at her home at 37950 Mohawk DR, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.

She could use funding to support the server space she uses to store and
backup the gold mine.

She could use funding to support her machines as she goes about her adding to
the gold mine. For her at home machines and the one she rides around in
turning rocks
for all our benefits.

I would suggest we fund THE Linda now and at every future Christmas period.
