Re your posting of the marriage of Sally Newbolt to John Harbison in 1797. Do you have any information as to which John Harbison this is? We have always thought that John Harbison, Jr. son of our John Harbison b. ca 1747 was the person who married Sally Newbolt, but there are other records which seem to indicate that John, Jr. was deceased in 1794. Our Harbisons were in Lincoln/Mercer Counties, KY. Is Washington Co., KY or Nelson Co. located nearby? Our records indicate that John Harbison, Jr.'s sister Ann married John Bone in Washington Co., KY 22 Jul 1797. Marriage records for John Bones and Ann Harbison with Ann Baker as witness or consent - minister Thomas Kyle. This was after John, Sr. died and Ann (Lucas) Harbison married Wm. Baker.
