Jerry,

In this part of the country (and maybe elsewhere also) Peggy is a nickname for Margaret. I have a cousin and I know several Margarets who go by Peggy. I'm not sure of the derivation of this name and I'm not sure when the nickname came into use.

Looks like more children of Susanna Johnson who married James Langley are
mentioned below.

So James Johnson who married Susanna Johnson and Molly Langley who married
Charles Jarboe are both children of some Peggy ? Langley

I wonder if Margaret ? Langley and Peggy ? Langley are sisters. it would not
surprise me.

this also reveals mothers name of the James Langley who married Susanna
Johnson
