Dear St. Mary's list, some of that MCATEE material
[http://www.kv.k12.in.us/rdmhome/mcatee/gp2220.htm#head2: ] is correct and
some is very wrong. [Some was taken from my research ... has my BISHOPS
with mistakes... Very troubling... this mix of correct and mistaken] This
is not the forum for this Charles Co. family, but maybe we can use Mary Ann
MONARCH and Mary TUCKER, daughter of Frances DRURY, for SMC legitimacy!!
I have a huge number of sources and will be happy to share.


Pat Obrist has sources for this:
Mary Ann Margaret McAtee who married first Peter TUCKER, did not have any
McATEE children. Her name is just Mary Ann. Obviously if she died in 1859
could not mother Mary Lucretia born in 1862!!

Her niece, Margaret Louise McATEE, was James Aquilla HAGAN'S third wife and
mother of Mary Lucretia HAGAN (my great-grandmother). Margaret McATEE'S
parents are Patrick McATEE (of Henry and Mary Ann MONARCH, of St. Mary's
Co., MD) and Mary Ann DORSEY (of Michael and Mary Ann Delany, both of
Ireland.)
