I'm looking for the parents of James BORROUGHS, b. Mar. 1777 St. Mary's Co., MD. The family is said to have
moved from St. Mary's Co., MD to NC about 1785.
James BURROUGHS m(1) 1803 Caswell Co., NC and is listed on the 1810 census in Caswell Co. The only other Burroughs listed in Caswell Co. in 1810 was Rosa BURROUGHS, whom I assume was a widow since she was head of household.
