That falls back to The Rambler and HEM.
On page 242 of The Mattingly Family in Early America,
Msgr HEM writes: "The Rambler" states that Edward
was the son of William Mattingly and Jane White. At
the age of 25 he went to Washington whre he married
Anne Knott in 1812. Their children were Signey Anne,
Edward, Thomas and Lucy Elizabeth. Edward died in
1867, aged 88 years."
Wish I had some Libers and folios to add to that, but
I do not have any to report now.
