Am searching for any info on James Burroughs of St. Mary's Co. He was born about 1750 and moved with his family to North Carolina in 1787/88. I believe he might have been a nephew of George Burroughs who was married to Eleanor Fowler). He signed as a witness to the will of George Burroughs in 1785 probated in 1788. Any info about James and his wife and children would be appreciated. He may also have lived for a while in Charles Co., MD. Thanks in advance for your help. Peggy Contact me at
