I think that Robert H. Wimsatt still married a Susanna Howard, maybe not the
one you have married to his father, but if you look at those Marriages I
sent you of St. Mary's of the Barrens in Perry County, Ohio, It shows Robert
Wimsatt married twice 1st to a Susanna Howard and 2nd to a Harriett Ersch
Belcha who was previously married to a Belcha


James Howard in his will mentions a daughter Anna but no Susanna, but in
Orphan records it mentions a Susanna, but no Anna, so I think they are one
and the same.

Could the Susanna Howard who married Joseph Zachariah Wimsatt, be a sister
to James Howard Sr. and then their son Robert Wimsatt marries a 1st cousin
Susanna Howard daughter of James Howard Sr.

Anna Hamilton claimed that John Baptist Howard had a sister Susanna, but she
picked the wrong one- a Susanna that belongs to the Pennsylvania Howard's.

I'm not sure when Robert H. Wimsatt was born.

I made all the other changes you suggested, but I still have Robert H.
Wimsatt married to a Susanna Howard, and based on both of their ages and
when their children were born I can see how he could have still married the
Susanna Howard orphan of James Howard Sr.

I don't have anything like that. I have that Joseph Zachariah Wimsatt
married first, Susanna Howard prior to 1793 and that they were the parents
of Robert H. Wimsatt; he then married second, Mary Magdalene Raley, May 12,
1794 in Washington Co., KY. Mary Magdalene Raley was the daughter of Henry
Sylvester Raley and his second wife, Jane Mills.

Since Susanna Howard, daughter of James Howard and wife, Mary is named in
her father's will in 1802 (and not shown that she's married), this won't
work as the earlier Susanna Howard was deceased prior to May 12, 1794.

I have no wife or other information for Robert H. Wimsatt (haven't had a
chance to work on what you sent me).

I show Joseph Mattingly, husband of Sarah Brewer, as the son of John Baptist

Mattingly (d. 1817, Washington Co., KY) and wife, Elizabeth.

I show Elizabeth Nottingham, dau. of Matthias Nottingham and wife, Mary (who

m. second, Leonard Payne) as the wife of a Joseph Mattingly, but haven't
nailed him down yet. Not even sure where I got the name Joseph as Leonard
Payne's will only says: Daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Mattingly and her
husband, during her life, the use of the land where I now live.
