John Forbes Sothoron, Major was his father and Elizabeth Attaway Briscoe, Molly was his mother. They were married on Oct 31, 1809 in St Marys Co., Md.

They has 4 children: John T H Sothoron, Zachariah Henry Sothoron, Mary Elizabeth Attaway Sothoron, & Susan R Sothoron.

Mary Elizabeth Attaway Sothoron married Dr William Simmons MacDaniel bef 1850 and Susan R Sothoron married Augustus Brown Slye on Dec 29, 1857..
