Attention Betty Yoder, Judith Burger, and List

Are you saying that William Hayden married 2nd Mildred Hilton, daughter of
William and Mildred Hilton

Since William died 1794, It would seem that Mildred Hilton had also married
earlier to a Mr. Hager, and maybe a Mr. Hayes from the information sent
below.

Of course, perhaps the translation of the record was taken wrong, if the
handwriting was poor, Hager and Hayes each have 5 letters and could have
been taken wrong.

Thus for genealogy purposes, her name should be shown Mildred Hilton married
to William Hayden.

I believe the name Hager has originated from this record in Nelson Co. It
is unclear from this record if the William & Mildred Hilton were her parents
but I think maybe a lot of us have assumed that and also assumed that she
had been married to a Hager. But that certainly may not be the case.
