Will of Johsua Guibert # 2.
Title: Pg 123 of Early Settlers of St. Clements Bay by M.L. Donnelly. 1996.

Joshua Guibert died in 1743. His Second wife, the former Jane Coode (daughter of Col. John Coode and his second wife Elizabeth) was executor of his estate. His will was dated Ten November 1743 and was probated about a month later. Jane was to inherit all of his real land personal estate. and at her death it was to be divided among his children, Elizabeth,, Anne, Joshua, Susannah Coode and Mary Woodward. (Mary Guibert who married John Woodward) To Grandchildren Luke Woodward and Joseph Woodward, d Joshua and John (Sanders). Estate valued at 510:16:04. Next of Kin mentioned were Thomas Coode (Grandson? Thomas Coode listed in Surry Co. NC 1784 or brother to John Coode Died 9/1766. who married Susanna Guibert.) and James Dunbar. (who married Anne Guibert?) John Dunbar Jr., married ca1753. He died bef. April 08, 1763. He was the son
of John Dunbar Sr. and Ann Blackistone (who married first, John Coad) and
he was the brother of the James Dunbar. Will of James Dunbar, SMC 7/1/1750-9/24/1750. Father: John, use of negroes. Niece: Henrietta Guibert, negroes George and Hannah after the death of my father and "Timberneck" now in the possession of Thomas Underwood.
