born say 1630 [aged 80 years or thereabouts on 8 Jul. 1709].
died testate between 1 Dec. 1712 and 28 Jan. 1712/3 at Lower Machadoc,
Westmoreland County, Virginia.
married (1) by 15 Aug. 1657 Thomas Sheppard of Northumberland County,
Virginia.
married (2) by 23 Aug. 1664 John Tucker (d. testate bet. 5 May 1671 & 31 May
1671) of Tucker's Hill (in Cople Parish), Westmoreland County, Virginia.
married (3) by 28 Jan. 1672/3 Thomas Gerrard, Esq. (originally of Bromley,
Lancashire, but died testate bet. 28 Jan. 1672/3 & 19 Nov. 1673 at Lower
Machadoc, Westmoreland County, Virginia).
married (4) bet. 12 Apr. 1676 and 16 Mar. 1676/7 John Newton the Elder,
Master and Mariner (originally of Kingston-upon-Hull, but died testate bet. 21
Dec. 1696 and 28 Jul. 1697 at Lower Machadoc, Westmoreland County, Virginia).

appointed constable of Cople Parish 1692.
died intestate bet. 3 Aug. 1698 and 29 Feb. 1699/1700.

married (2) before 29 Feb. 1699/1700 Mary, who by that date had married (2)
John Brown.

married (1) by 1708 [Mr.] Henry Netherton, surveyor of Westmoreland County
(who died intestate bet. 30 Jul. 1716 and 28 Nov. 1716 in Cople Parish).
married (2) by 1717 William Veale

Henry Netherton
alive as late as 15 Jun. 1786 Netherton's Mill Run, Shenandoah County,
Virginia
married Sarah Rhodes, daughter of John Rhodes (who died testate on 12 Nov.
1748 in Overwharton Parish, Stafford County, Virginia) by his wife Ann (alive
as late as 27 Jan. 1759).

born 25 Apr. 1738 Great Rocky Run (on Occuquan), [then] Prince William
County, Virginia.
alive as late as 7 Sep. 1801 Flint Run, Shenandoah County, Virginia.
married 12 Aug. 1758 Frederick County, Virginia to James Mathes (b. 20 Sep.
1737 Flint Run, [then] Augusta County, Virginia ~ alive as late as 21 Nov.
1803 in Jefferson County, Kentucky).
