I found in my grandfather's belongings a pedigree chart with a Benedict Greenwell born Sept 14, 1800 in Maryland. Married Mariah Gough born 1799 in Meade County KY. Married 1817. Daughter Melissa Ann born October 25, 1827 in Meade County. Melissa married Franklin Greenwood. Does any of this sound familiar?
