No, but not too much activity.

Just to let the List know what I've been doing:
I went over to the Hollywood Church of the Nazarene Cemetery yesterday [MD
245, Sotterley Road] and copied out the cemetery there ... not too big.

I'm starting to add that cemetery to www.findagrave.com Just started; not
many on yet.

I did an up-date to Joy Chapel at the end of July/start of August. Nearly
400 burials from Joy Chapel are on www.findagrave.com

Joy Chapel & Hollywood Church of the Nazarene are related. A "Holiness"
faction from Joy Chapel formed a new church 1906/1907, which became
Hollywood Church of the Nazarene. They were official "removed" by Charge
Conference of the Leonardtown Circuit, M. E. Church, in 1907.

Joy, Dean, Thompson, Gatton are among the families you'll find in both Joy
Chapel & Hollywood Nazarene cemeteries.

I'm slowly adding to these cemeteries:
Mt. Zion United Methodist [ex-Methodist Episcopal], Laurel Grove
Christ Church, Chaptico [King & Queen Parish, Episcopal]
St. Michael's Roman Catholic, Ridge
To give a bit on denomination & geographic variety.
I'm using the lists my students generated 1974+ during the Bicentennial. I'm
cross-checking against Janet Tice's big cemetery book for errors.

Look at the site: www.findagrave.com

It would be nice if some of the Kentucky cemeteries were added. There are
some burials at Holy Mary in Marion County, which I did find on the site.
I'm sure others are also to be found.

Add what you can ... it's easy to do & really does help.

By the way, we are working on the Fall 2006 "Generator" on Thursday, so
those of you in the SMCGS should be getting your Fall newsletter before too
long.

David
