Clif,

A couple of questions, additions, etc.

What is the source for Lavinia's first name being Mary? I have only found
her listed as Lavinia. She died between 1850-1853. She was on the 1850
census and Joshua remarried May 19, 1853.

I have their son as William K. Watts (you have William R.). Except for the
1850 census, all other records I've found call him William K.

Capt. William K. Watts d. at his home "West St. Mary's", on Saturday last,
aged 67 years. He was a bay and river pilot. He was twice married, and his
consort, a sister of his first wife, and a daughter, Mrs. Lee McKay survive
him. (The Enterprise, 40 years ago, 6/25/1937).

Thomas B. Watts I have as Thomas Benjamin Watts.

Eva Watts married Henry "Harry" William Adams.

Mary Elizabeth H. Watts. I have her as Mary Elizabeth Hopewell Watts.

You didn't list two other children: Henry M. Watts, b. 1846 and McKendry R.
Watts, b. 1848.

Allen Hardman Watts married Frances Elizabeth Milburn (1878-1849), dau. of
James Thomas Milburn and Mary Hewitt.

The use of the name Benjamin and of the name Hopewell in the names of the
Watts children, leads me to think that Lavinia Martin was possibly the
daughter of Benjamin Martin and Hopewell Hebb who were married February 06,
1810 at St. George's Episcopal Church. Also buried at that church are:
Joshua G. Watts and Thomas Benjamin Watts.
