I have some info on a Lewis Washington Greenwell only he was married to Mary Ann Downs & his father was Arnold John Greenwell Jr. The names you mention are familiar to the info I have.
I am searching for John Coley (Coleman, Colby) Greenwell who is said to be the son of Lewis but I cannot confirm this. My Lewis was blind & married at age 14 & Mary Ann age 15.
