Hi Bonnie,
I have no clue as to whether there was a connection with Norris Jones, a
Quaker from Philadelphia.
The only further record I have of Samuel Jones is when he married Mary
Johnson in St. Mary's County, December 22, 1834. They must have moved
elsewhere.
Yes, I did tell you that Alexander Edwards and Mary E. Suite (daughter of
Samuel Suite and Elsie Jones) had a son named Norris Marshall Edwin (or
Edward) Edwards. He was baptized, 5/29/1864 at All Faith. He died April
15, 1915 in St. Mary's County.
I have no record of any children of Rev. Norris Marshall Jones.
Still no wife for James Suite (d. 1813). A good clue is the name of his
son, William Brown Suite.
I don't know who Ralph Suite was but I don't think it's a coincidence that
he was in Granville County with the others of that name.
