Most likely it was the priest who recorded the information, not Mary
Magdalene Raley, and somebody flubbed the name. If you can find anyone with
the surname Bubberly anywhere in Maryland, please let me know.

Mary Magdalene Raley was baptized at St. Francis Xavier, Newtown on October
05, 1772. Here's the record:

10/5/1772: Baptized Mary Mag., child of Henry and Joan Reily. GP: Jesse
Greenwell and Ann Jarboe. (Jesuit Missions, p. 125).
