William Daft who married Elizabeth Gough was the son of Charles Daft, Jr.
and wife, Elizabeth. He's the one whose will you have below dated 1799.

>From "My Notes" below. Your records agree with mine. I think the wife of
Richard Clarke was Elizabeth Chesley. Robert Chesley and Ann Waughop had a
daughter named Elizabeth and also Richard Clarke and his Chesley wife named
a daughter Elizabeth Chesley Clarke.

Is this Mathew Daft the father of William Daft who married Elizabeth Gough?


MY NOTES:

Robert Chesley Clarke was the son of Richard Clarke and ____Chesley, dau. of
Robert Chesley and Ann Waughop. Richard Clarke was the son of John and
Elizabeth Milburn Clarke.

Is this correct??

And is this the William Daft below who married Elizabeth Gough
