Here are a few additional tidbits on the Vize family. Thanks to everyone contributing to this discussion. Elizabeth was the only one I had connected to anyone.

Elizabeth (b. 1831 - d. 1863) married John Ignatius Drury s/o Ignatius Drury (1803-1887) and Lydia O'Nan (1811-1881). They had 2 children - Lydia Ann Smallwood Drury (b.11/25/1861, bap. 1/1/1862) and William Ignatius Drury ( b. 4/6/1863).

Children's dates from "The Baptismal Register of Sacred Heart Church St. Vincent, Union County, Kentucky 1817-1877 by Dr. Joseph E. Johnson pgs 94 and 98.

In addition we have Catherine Milton Vize (b.9/30/1854, bap. 10/30/1854) d/o Patrick Coleman and Isabella Vize (p. 74) and Benjamin Franklin Vize (b. 9/25/1861, bap. 12/1/1861) s/o Benjamin Vize and Margaret McMurray (p. 94).

German and his name was originally Weiss(e) which would be pronounced
approximately Vize.
