I'm not clear on the point we are making here.
But the Joseph Wimsatt who married Mary Howard - I have him as the son of
John Baptist Wimsatt and Elizabeth ?
I have the Joseph Wimsatt who married Sarah STONE under Robert Wimsatt and
So do I have a mistake? Your saying same Joseph Wimsatt married both Mary
Howard and Sarah STONE?
Not sure I have it correctly.
I then have these notes
have that Joseph Wimsatt married Mary Howard 7/28/1795. She was the dau. of
George Howard and Anastasia Spink.
James Wimsatt, b. before 1758 married Sarah Howard 3/23/1778. She was b.
1761 and was also a daughter of George Howard and Anastasia Spink.
But then in my data Base I have Sarah HOWARD who married James WIMSATT as
the daughter of Clement Howard and Eleanor BAILEY
The problem is some of this Data is coming from Mary DONNELLY so not sure
it's correct, and I'm not sure which part is from Mary Donnelly.

I'm sorry I cannot add any factual data here that would help; however, Mary
Yoder has posed this question for years and in lieu of anything but a guess,
I'd like to suggest where it fits. Here's Mary's question:
Ignatius Medcalf bca 1740-1750, to Nelson 1788 2nd Catholic migragion. 1788
tithables with Ethelbert Mills, Mary Ann with 3 tithes being paid.
Mills married Annie Wells 1787 Nelson Co, Ky; she d/o Samuel Wells from
Hampshire Co, VA; ETHELBERT, S/O NICHOLAS MILLS from SMC, MD. Have 3
for Ethelbert & Annie but could have had more. Son Joseph b ca 1788, m
Ann Figg 1811 Nelson Co. Joseph and Nancy's children records at St
Catherine's, New Haven. Medcalfe being Catholic.
It's my belief that Ignatius Medcalf married Mary Ann Mills ---- sister to
Ethelbert, both children of Nicholas Mills. Martin Mills, s/o Ignatius
and Mary Manning, married Susannah Wimsatt. --- Martin Mills would have
a nephew to Ethelbert Mills
Martin Mills married Susannah Wimsatt on January 12, 1828 in Washington
