Hi Linda,

This is interesting.....If his name is really Wifred, which you make a
good case for, then I wonder if his name would have been William
Wifred Greenwell.

I am researching Wilfred Greenwell, s/o Thomas and have found a number
of instances where he was referred to as both Wifred and William in
the same document. Additionally, he had a son named William Wilfred.
I have been looking for Wilfred's grave site to see what the headstone
says and have not had much luck yet. One of my last remaining Aunts
told me that there is a family burial site somewhere off of Brown road
close to St. Johns road where he may be buried.
