I have heard it is possible to get a lot of information on Talbot County (and other county) Marylanders by tracing their land holdings. In the will of my Talbot County ancestor there are references to a couple of pieces of land, but I don't know how or where to followup on them. Since I am way down here in Florida, it's almost impossible to do any research on the land by the parcel names. Is there an index or book abstracting the parcels by their name? If not, is there some way to order some record or records from FHC on microfilm by parcel name? I have ordered the deed indexes by name, and looked at some of the deeds but have not found anything in the FHC index on TC-MD by parcel.

If there is someone who uses the land records or can help me out on tracing this family's land I would greatly appreciate it. At the rate I am going now, I will be too old to see the records by the time I get back to the Hall of Records or to Talbot County to see if I can find something !! I will gratefully reimburse expenses ...
