What is THIS mailing list for? I thought it was for the same purpose that you
just stated this new list is for. I like the Rootsweb Lists and they seem very
simple to use - no passwords and straight to the point. Why do new sites such as
this one and MyFamily.com keep popping up and people seem to abandon sharing
information on the Rootsweb Lists and join the new "sites"? I feel that MyFamily
is much more user unfriendly than this List yet many of my Surname Lists are
going to MyFamily.com and the people no longer stay with the Rootsweb Lists. I
hope this new list for Wash. Co., MD. does not affect this List and its members.
