Does anyone have any information on a place or town called "Millers Sawmill"
that is on the Tracey maps and I also just found it on the current ADC
Washington County, MD map. Is it a town or an old mill of some historical
significance? It is located on the Potomac River near Antietam.
I am searching for an ancestor by the name of Peter Miller who owned a
grist mill and a saw mill in Loudon County. He is buried in Loudon almost
directly south of the site of this "Millers Sawmill" in Wash. Co., MD and I
wondering if there might be some connection. I feel he did live at one time
in MD as he was married in 1775 in Frederick.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
