>From US FEDERAL CENSUS, MARYLAND, WASHINGTON COUNTY; CLEARSPRING [sic]
DISTRICT; PO INDIAN SPRING. AMBROSE INGMAN, ASS'T MARSHALL, 16 August 1860,
PAGE 970: House 471, Family 471: Otho Mills, 50, Farmer, Real Estate valued

PAGE 971: House 478 Family 478: Henry Mills 60, Real Estate - not valuated;
Personal Estate valued at $50; Isabella, 20.
Could not get the 1870 census today - but will later: Otho appears there age
59 in Indian Spring [Washington County page 408]. Will see what his
household consists of when I review the census.
Do you want the hard copies? The 1850 is somewhat blurry in the original and
the 1860 is very light and hard to read - but you may wish to check out my
data and reading of it. Send me your snail mail address and I will forward.
Incidentally, I note the following burials;
parkhead evangeklical church graveyard, route 40, parkhead level: Otho P.
Mills, Father, age 74 years 6 month died 7 December 1884.
Further away and separate is the following, same cemetary, different plot:
Mary Mills, Mother, age 74 years 2 months 29 days, died 27 September 1900.
Jeremiah Mills Co. F. 13th reg.MD Inf. born 6 February 1848, died 30 April
1923. Ella Mills b. 20 Oct 1860 d 6 Nov. 1901. R. F. Mills, no dates. Mills,
3 graves, plain boards.
Different plot: Oscar Mills b 7 June 1871 and Sarah Ann b. 2 June 1872, with
daughter Amanda Ellen b 4 July 1911 died 27 July 1922 [listed two times -
two markers?] and grave of Oscar F. b 2 April 1905 d. 28 Aug. 1926.
Other Mills burials are in this graveyard - these seemed most pertinent.
