I am seeking any information on a Lutheran Church that would have existed in
Sharpsburg, Md circa 1750. My ancestor, Greenberry Samuels was supposedly a
Deacon there in 1750. Looking to find the location of the church and any
deposited records as well as data on the SAMUELS family. Samuels was in
Sharpsburg area in the early 1750s and then returned in the early 1780
connected to the iron forge business of the Pennypacker family before moving
into the Shenandoah Valley.
